Friday Night
For students interested in the Multicultural Greek Council or National Pan-Hellenic Council
This experience will provide an insight into culturally based sororities and fraternities. This session focus on the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) and National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and includes information about historically Black organizations, Asian-interest, Hispanic or Latinx interest, LGBTQIA+ interest, and Multicultural interest organizations. This program includes an opening session, breakouts, meet and greets, and dinner.

Saturday
For students interested in the Collegiate Panhellenic Council and Interfraternity Council.
This experience will provide an insight into social sororities and fraternities. This session will have an emphasis on the Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC) and Interfraternity Council (IFC). This experience includes breakfast, an opening session, breakouts, meet and greets, and house tours.
Greek Preview Weekend is the perfect opportunity to learn all about the sorority and fraternity experience. Attendees can chose which session (Friday evening or Saturday) connect with their interests or can attend both.
Prospective students and their family members will learn more about sororities and fraternities at Iowa State, how to prepare for different recruitment processes or membership intake, connect with campus partners and more!
Be comfortable! March weather in Iowa can feel like winter or summer. Most of the programming will take place indoors, however attendees on Saturday will have the opportunity to visit chapter houses which will require being outdoors. Comfortable shoes for walking is highly encouraged.
Parking on campus and during the weekends is open parking unless it is a metered spot or a 24 reserved parking spot. Specific instructions regarding parking will be provided to individuals who register for the event. This information will include the closest parking lot available.
We are happy to provide an opportunity for a fee waiver for Greek Preview Day. Our team wants to give every student the chance to learn about the fraternity and sorority experience. Should you wish to apply for a fee waiver, please email sfestaff@iastate.edu with a brief explanation of why you are requesting a fee waiver. Please also include you name, email, and high school.
Students applying for the fee waiver should wait to purchase passes until hearing from our team about your application.
Greek Preview Weekend is a great chance to get connected early and learn about the sorority and fraternity experience on campus. It is not required to participate in any Greek recruitment process. If you registered and no longer attend, please email us at sfestaff@iastate.edu so we can cancel your registration. Please note that the registration fee can be refunded up until two full weeks prior to the event.
