Nickname: Sig Chi

The Beta Omicron Chapter of Sigma Chi was originally founded at Iowa State University in 1916 and reestablished in 2023. Built on Sigma Chi’s core values of Friendship, Justice, and Learning, Beta Omicron strives to develop transformational leaders through brotherhood, service, academic achievement, and campus involvement. Our chapter is committed to building men of strong character who make a lasting impact at Iowa State and in the lives of those around them.

Housing Information
Style of living Suite-style living on the second and third floors, with rooms housing 1–4 members.
Room Features Three different bedroom layouts, each with full Ethernet access, high and low electrical outlets, and an attached bathroom with a double vanity; each member has their own desk, closet, and dresser.
Dining Features 14 meals per week, including breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday and dinner Monday through Thursday. Members also have 24-hour access to the main kitchen, as well as additional kitchenettes on the second and third floors.
Entertainment Features Theater room, full game room with pool, poker, darts, and other games, plus additional lounge areas on the second and third floors.
Parking Private lot with 16 parking spaces for members living in the chapter facility.
