Kappa Kappa Gamma

Nickname: Kappa, KKG

Delta Omicron Chapter was founded at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa on May 18, 1946. We are a women’s organization thriving on tradition, leadership, academics and friendship. From participating in philanthropies that hit close to home to fun sisterhood activities, college is an opportunity to flourish and grow. Alone, each Kappa brings unique qualities to campus, but together we make a difference.

Kappa Kappa Gamma is truly an enchanting place where a house can become a home, strangers turn into lifelong friends, and there are countless opportunities for growth, connection, and unforgettable memories. The sisterhood in our chapter transcends time, distance, and all other obstacles. Through my journey in KKG, I have discovered not only the power of authenticity but also the strength found in collaboration and the true meaning of leadership. All of our members and our sisterhood have become an irreplaceable part of my life, which inspires me to be the best and most authentic version of myself every day. I have no greater honor than carrying the legacy of Kappa Kappa Gamma. Choosing Kappa is a choice I would make a million times again.
