Nickname: Theta
Kappa Alpha Theta was founded as the first Greek-letter fraternity known among women. The Gamma Pi chapter at Iowa State University was established on May 8, 1948. The members strive to uphold our values of personal excellence, intellectual curiosity, service, and leadership. These values represent the four points of the kite, the symbol of our sorority.

Kappa Alpha Theta is filled with authentic members who strive to uplift each other and reflect our values. Ever since I have joined the Gamma Pi chapter, I have felt at home. I have made some of my best memories here and have found my best friends. I am so grateful to be a member of this chapter!
