Nickname: Theta

Kappa Alpha Theta was founded as the first Greek-letter fraternity known among women. The Gamma Pi chapter at Iowa State University was established on May 8, 1948. The members strive to uphold our values of personal excellence, intellectual curiosity, service, and leadership. These values represent the four points of the kite, the symbol of our sorority.

Kappa Alpha Theta has given me the home away from home that I craved for when entering college. The members are some of the most authentic, kind, funny, and free-spirited people that I have ever met. Since the day I joined, each member has pushed me to be the best possible version of myself, encouraging me to reach for goals I didn't think was possible. Kappa Alpha Theta has helped me grow as a leader, a student, but most importantly helped me grow more confidence in myself. Theta did not only give me the tools needed to succeed at Iowa State, but it also gave me a second family and relationships that I know I will have for a lifetime. I will forever be grateful I thought Theta.

Style of living 1, 2, 3, and 4 person rooms
Room Features Each room is furnished with a bed, a desk, a chair, dressers, and a closet. There is central air conditioning available throughout the whole house.
Dining Features 24/7 access to kitchen and kitchenette. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher, toaster, and multiple coffee machines. Members have the option to have catering services provided through Hy-Vee.
Entertainment Features The facility provides a TV room, a study room with a free printer, a wellness room, a craft room, and multiple social spaces for members.
Parking Kappa Alpha Theta provides 19 spaces for its members.
