Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. is a fraternal organization founded on December 1st, 1975 at Kean College in Union, New Jersey. Lambda Theta Phi is the first nationally recognized Latino fraternity. The Iowa State University - Gamma Chi Chapter of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. was established on November 5th, 2011.

Philanthropy The Latino Leader Campaign is a project of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. to raise funds for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's (CHCI) R2L Next Gen Program. R2L Next Gen brings 100 Latino high school students to Washington, D.C. for a week-long leadership development experience where students learn about the federal government, meet important leaders and visit historic sites. Through participation in the program, students are on track to go to college and impact the future of our country.
