Delta Delta Delta was nationally founded Thanksgiving Eve, 1888 at Boston University. Since that day, Tri Delta has continued to uphold its core values of truth, self-sacrifice, and friendship. Members of Tri Delta maintain high academic standards while being involved on campus and helping in the community. Tri Delta came to Iowa State in 1912, and continues to focus on assisting its members in every possible way. Delta Delta Delta believes that membership far exceeds four years of college, and is there for a lifetime.

Philanthropy Delta Delta Delta proudly partners with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to raise money for the kids of St. Jude. This partnership began in 1999, and has since allowed us to commit to our biggest fundraising goal yet. In 2014, Tri Delta committed to raising $60 million dollars in 10 years, which is the largest single commitment by a St. Jude partner. As the Omega Delta chapter at Iowa State University, we do our part to reach this goal by hosting our fall philanthropy Delta Wild Wings, as well as partnering with the men of Tau Kappa Epsilon and hosting St. Jude week and Mac Attack in the spring.
