Alpha Gamma Delta - Rho

2118 Sunset Drive
Ames, IA 50014

Founded at Iowa State in 1917, Alpha Gamma Delta; Rho Chapter, takes pride in being one of the strongest chapters on campus. We highly value academics, sisterhood, philanthropy, and leadership. Our members include women from every college on campus, and come from a wide variety of backgrounds. They hold leadership positions all over campus with organizations such as Dance Marathon, SALC, Greek Week, Business Council, Design Council, Blood Drive, and countless others.

Nickname Alpha Gam
Philanthropy As a chapter we raise money for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation which supports Fighting Hunger partnering with Meals on Wheels and Feeding America. In the fall we hold Cheesin' for a Reason, serving grilled cheese and tomato soup, a philanthropy well received by Greek peers. In the spring, we host an Alpha Gam Breakfast Slam, a late night breakfast.
